Challenge 4: Jack Frost/Sugar Plum Fairy

Apologies for the late post! I was finishing this as Dave was writing the new challenge. :$

So here she is resting on top of a sugar plum. Tired from doing whatever she does (dancing and prancing with the Nutcracker, dodging hungry owls, who knows?!). Hopefully I will actually finish this illustration with colour one day. But for now, colorization + simple highlights will do. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and I wish you all a Happy New Year!

Yeah I had a lot of trouble drawing the hands, especially the one near the face. It's not quite right, but I tried! I'll definitely need to practice more.

But thank you Sketch-ster!

Jeanette! You are getting so good at drawing from what I remember! You obviously have been practicing :) I like the relaxed look of the pose and the details in the outfit are nice. She obviously is thinking about something.
I hope you've had a good christmas and will have a good new years too :)

So very pretty! The muted colours and subtle highlights work really well to create a relaxed atmosphere. Great work! :)
